A mainstay of the British downtempo scene for almost 10 years,
Tripswitch (Nick Brennan) cemented a worldwide reputation as a meticulous
and talented producer with the release of his first album 'Circuit
Breaker' on Youth's Liquid Sound Design label in 2005. With a 4*
review in DJ magazine, praise from Anoushka Shankar in
the New York Times, BBC Radio 1 airplay as well
as support from the likes of Nick Warren (Way Out West), Jose Padilla
(Cafe del Mar) and Claude Challe (Buddha Bar), who all picked up
tracks for their own compilations, the album was re-released as
a double CD package in 2007 with remixes from some of the world's
top dance and chill artists.
Nick's trademark sound is characterized by a well-crafted fusion
of electronic production and live instrumentation, sometimes psychedelic,
always emotional.
Geometry
Geometry is the long-awaited second full length album from Tripswitch.
A natural evolution from the ultra-melodic, psychedelic masterpiece
that was 'Circuit Breaker', an album widely considered to be one
of the landmark productions in the psy-chill scene, Geometry turns
the page and presents a fresh view of Nick's trademark sound, a
combination of intricate electronic composition and live instrumentation.
Still with the same lush production values as it's older brother,
Geometry strips back the sound and rebuilds it with elements of
breakbeat, shoegaze, dub and downtempo synth-pop to create a heady
flow between downtempo genres with a precision that's faithful to
it's title.
With a number of single remixes on the way from some killer artists,
Geometry is the perfect introduction to the world for Section
Records and a welcome return to the scene for one of it's early
leading lights.

e.l.f Arrow is Avery Runner, known for two decades of DJ production
and underground event promotion. Space Dub rooted many mountain
